prospective attendees to visit our website for more details.
-
The full conference schedule is now posted on the website.
-
Early bird deadline for conference registration at $350 is
June 30; registration is $400 starting July 1.
-
Attendees do not have to be members of SHRM or NCSHRM.
Pricing is the same for all attendees.
**We are also conducting a chapter attendance
contest to generate a little excitement and additional incentive for chapter
participation:
We
will award a $750 scholarship to the chapter with the highest percentage
attendance from its total membership, and $250 scholarship to second place.
We will use a verified membership number for each chapter
provided by either NCSHRM, SHRM or local chapter leadership (provided by email
no later than July 15) and our registration data (drop down list asks for
chapter affiliation; in cases where chapter affiliation is not listed, attendee
should add a comment to their registration stating their chapter affiliation).
The contest will run all the way up to the start of conference
(September 16) with winners announced on Friday (September 18) of the
conference. As the host chapter, HRMAG (Human Resource Management Association of
Greensboro) is not eligible for the contest.

Welcome to the
Union County Human Resources Association (UCHRA). The
UCHRA is an affiliated chapter (#0719) of The Society for
Human Resource Management (SHRM), the world's
largest association devoted to human resource
management.
Our
association has a catered working luncheon typically
held the first Wednesday of every month from 12:00
- 1:30 p.m. Our meetings are held at the Union
County Chamber of Commerce, which is located at 903
Skyway Drive in Monroe, NC.
We obtain guest
speakers on a multitude of practical and legal HR
related topics. Our speakers typically consist
of employment attorneys, employee benefits
experts, HR professionals, and representatives from
agencies such as the U.S. Department of Labor, the
Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the
Employment Security Commission. Some of our
meetings qualify for HRCI
credit, including our semi-annual legal updates.
Our luncheons also provide HR professionals with an
opportunity to network and share information.
