A: No. SHRM membership is separate from membership in
a local chapter. Each chapter has its own membership application
process and dues structure.

Q: When I join a local chapter,
should I notify SHRM?
A: Yes. Upon membership in your local chapter, please
contact SHRM to update your member record. This is important because
your local chapter receives financial support from SHRM based on your
membership.
